qibdo Cloud
qibdo Cloud is a multi-engine Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) platform that runs a
complete set of cloud services on infrastructure you control. It delivers an end-to-end,
cloud-native experience through services with 1:1 parity to the public cloud’s FaaS, SaaS, PaaS,
and IaaS, at up to ten times lower cost and without complex billing models.
It is also a unified orchestration and management layer: you administer resources across your
public clouds, third-party bare-metal providers, and your own premises from one place. That makes
qibdo a platform for multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, and cloud repatriation, not only a private
cloud.
Architecture
Section titled “Architecture”qibdo owns its entire infrastructure stack, with no managed-service dependencies, and runs
on infrastructure you control.
qibdo runs as the control plane: it serves the API, orchestrates resources, and
reconciles your declarative requests into running workloads. The workloads this produces, such
as virtual machines, run on your hosts as the data plane.
Because qibdo runs virtual machines with hardware-assisted virtualization, it requires
Linux hosts with hardware virtualization enabled. Host and sizing requirements are covered
under Deploy and
Infrastructure requirements.
Engines
Section titled “Engines”An engine is a public or private cloud provider that qibdo orchestrates, such as AWS,
GCP, Azure, or qibdo itself. Each service offers a familiar but enhanced version of the
matching public-cloud product, kept consistent from the API through the documentation, the UI,
and support. Where you need more, the services are built to integrate with other platforms and
frameworks rather than to replace them.
